Here is a quick update....and will "talk" to you all "next year"!
* The Taxol chemo treatments are going well, 2 of 12 down now. I seem to be handling it okay. A prayer request I have is that I do not get any of the side effects from the Taxol. A prevalent side effect is a red rash all over the body, and would itch. I have the chemo treatments weekly on Thursday's, anywhere from 11 am to 3 pm, and takes about 2-3 hours to get it.
* The Tibetan Yoga Study is still going well. I have two weeks left with an instructor, then will just be on my own. It seems to be helping with the effects of chemo.
* Still keeping the head buzzed...as it is not ready to be grown out, need more of the sprigs coming out at once!
* Taste buds are doing good these days...ha.
* The weather here in Houston is still good. A bit cool this morning, at about 32 degrees (I know, don't talk about cold to you all in Kansas/Missouri), but doing to be 58, then, 66, 74, 74, 74, 74 this week. I can handle that! (Rod and I are enjoying this Houston "winter" weather. ;)
* We will celebrate Christmas with Robert and Lorene and their daughter, Eleanor, and a few others, and know we will have a great time with this wonderful family.
* I continue to appreciate you all…your friendship…your support…your prayers -- please keep them up, they continue to be answered.

Sorry to send an e-mail Christmas card to everyone; however, since I will not be able to send a card via the mail to everyone, I just want to be sure to say, "Merry Christmas to all!"
Christmastime is here -- what a joy it is to celebrate Jesus' birth and the blessing of His love!
May Jesus fill your home with the fullness of His joy both now and in the coming year.
His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

From a recent commentary in my my Daily Walk Bible, NLT.
Today God offers his love and mercy, but there is coming a day when his wrath and judgment will pour down upon all who have ignored his invitation. That means you if you have spurned his offer of salvation in Jesus Christ. That means your unsaved family members and friends. And that means there is no better time than now to warn those you love of the peril they face by continuing in their unbelief. Can you afford to wait?
Prayer from the Billy Graham site (http://www.billygraham.com/) and there is a great video on this site:
How to Pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen.
God's Assurance: His Word
If you prayed this prayer, The Bible says ..."Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. " — Romans 10:13 (NIV)
Did you sincerely ask Jesus Christ to come into your life? Where is He right now? What has He given you?
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." — Ephesians 2:8,9 (NIV)
Receiving Christ, we are born into God's family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. This is called regeneration, or the "new birth." This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ.
To deepen this relationship you should:
1. Read your Bible everyday to know Christ better.
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
3. Tell others about Christ.
4. Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached.
5. As Christ's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others.
