I am doing okay* after my chemo yesterday. ONLY 4 more chemo's left! Yea.... My hair is coming back pretty good...I have a lot of peach fuzz these days.

* I always love to say okay, because I am not vomiting or nauseous...those were my biggest fears. I can deal with the other things that are happening with my body, things that I can control and ones that I cannot...ha!

We are having another 45 degree day here in Houston, and it is kinda rainy and cloudy. We are ready to see the sun again. It is supposed to be 60 degrees Sat, and 72 on Sunday, and 75 again on Monday. (Sorry I have to report that.) But, I heard that you guys in Overland Park/Kansas City will have 46 over the weekend, and then warmer too! Sure hope so.

I believe the Z-Pac antibiotics nipped my recent cold in the bud. I still have some "residual" symptoms, but nothing serious.

Have a great weekend to all, and thanks for your continued prayers for no serious side effects.

From a recent commentary in my my Daily Walk Bible, NLT.
Today God offers his love and mercy, but there is coming a day when his wrath and judgment will pour down upon all who have ignored his invitation. That means you if you have spurned his offer of salvation in Jesus Christ. That means your unsaved family members and friends. And that means there is no better time than now to warn those you love of the peril they face by continuing in their unbelief. Can you afford to wait?

Prayer from the Billy Graham site (
http://www.billygraham.com/) and there is a great video on this site:

How to Pray:

Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God's Assurance: His Word
If you prayed this prayer, The Bible says ..."Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. " — Romans 10:13 (NIV)

Did you sincerely ask Jesus Christ to come into your life? Where is He right now? What has He given you?
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." — Ephesians 2:8,9 (NIV)

Receiving Christ, we are born into God's family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. This is called regeneration, or the "new birth." This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ.

To deepen this relationship you should:
1. Read your Bible everyday to know Christ better.
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
3. Tell others about Christ.
4. Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached.
5. As Christ's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others.
