Well, hard to believe it is mid-July! Things are good at the Anderson's. We were in Gardendale, Alabama July 4-13, and had an awesome visit with Rod's parents, Bill & June Anderson. We saw some relatives, visited some good friends, ate a lot of good food, had a great time altogether. It was hot and humid there, but came back to KC on July 13, to a cool summer day...it felt great!

Quick update, and will write more on the blog in the next day or two (still trying to "catch up" from "being gone").

My hair continues to grow, and still curly in the back. very curly. The top is not so curly, but with the gel on it, it lays down pretty good. I have lost my bottom eye lashes again, only on the right eye though. Weird. But, as I have said before...eye lashes are over-rated. Ha!

My bones are still kinda creaky, but once I get up and going, they do just fine. They don't hurt, but takes me a little bit to get up and going sometimes.

Let's see, I think that is about it.

Talk to you all later. :)

Keeping You in Prayer!

Could you Pray for my son
Bryan! He lives in Stockholm,
Sweden. 9hrs away US time. His
operation is on Thrusday. He
will be getting more treatment
after that. It's an inherited type of colerectal cancer.

GOD Bless You and Yours and Thank You So Much for Your Prayers!!!

From a recent commentary in my my Daily Walk Bible, NLT.
Today God offers his love and mercy, but there is coming a day when his wrath and judgment will pour down upon all who have ignored his invitation. That means you if you have spurned his offer of salvation in Jesus Christ. That means your unsaved family members and friends. And that means there is no better time than now to warn those you love of the peril they face by continuing in their unbelief. Can you afford to wait?

Prayer from the Billy Graham site (
http://www.billygraham.com/) and there is a great video on this site:

How to Pray:

Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God's Assurance: His Word
If you prayed this prayer, The Bible says ..."Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. " — Romans 10:13 (NIV)

Did you sincerely ask Jesus Christ to come into your life? Where is He right now? What has He given you?
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." — Ephesians 2:8,9 (NIV)

Receiving Christ, we are born into God's family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. This is called regeneration, or the "new birth." This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ.

To deepen this relationship you should:
1. Read your Bible everyday to know Christ better.
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
3. Tell others about Christ.
4. Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached.
5. As Christ's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others.
